Restrict users at app level

Podio should provide a feature to restrict users at app level. Right now, this restriction is available only at work space level and we end up creating lot more workspaces.

  I agree with this. We work a lot with externals and there is no need to share unnecessary information with them (information that would logically be centered within a workspace). Creating too many workspaces per client adds complexity and makes Podio difficult to work with in my point of view.

  Is there no work around for this?

  +1. granularity for permissions at filed level has been requested for years now with no effect so far....this is a MAJOR drawback for Podio.

  Are there any plans for implementation?

  We are discussing making improvements to access controls, but it's still in the very early stages so we don't have anything to share yet. But just know that it is on our radar :)

  Agree, It's the top feature that's lacking for us, making an otherwise great platform almost unusable with our clients. Sharing individual items doesn't cut it nor does it provide a functional user experience for the client.
