Email Systems for CRM / Autoresponse

Was wondering what people are using most with Podio for email.

I am currently using SendPepper (entry level Ontraport).

My needs currently are an email system that ties in with Podio so that leads / clients are synced with my email program and can use multiple tags. So that I can make updates in Podio as to the status of a lead, with tags and it syncs to my email system.

Also to be able to set up auto emails that go out when certain criteria is met. Like, lead is tagged as a client of a particular service, welcome email and onboard docs go out automatically.

But I also use my email system for optins on our site, where we might have a basic newsletter or sign up for a marketing audit. Those would need autoresponders, which would be done through the email system.

And then the last would be sending emails via Podio.

Not sure there is a solution to all of that, but thought I would see what people are doing.

I guess my goal would be to have Podio be my main hub and the email works with it. Rather than having Podio and an intense email system like Infusionsoft or Ontraport.

  If you go to podio.com/extensions there is an app for integrating with mailchimp that we use for managing email campaigns through podio. You could also use Zapier.

  Ultimately, I also wish Podio had a direct email integration. Maybe someday...
