Conditional Field Vision
It would be nice to have conditional vision of fields in an item. For instance, you have three categories, and certain fields show up if the first category is chosen and different fields when the second or third is chosen. I realize this is a feature that currently isn't offered but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch considering you already have "hide field if empty" and workflows.

Thanks for the votes - We have been looking into further improving the fields, however there are no plans for it at this time.

+1 to this idea. The ability to add fields which are conditional based on the selections of the previous fields would be a great addition. For instance, if Product 1 is selected a field appears for the quantity of product ordered for Product 1. If Product 2 is selected a field appears for the quantity of product ordered for Product 2. Each product type could then be totaled separately.

Yes, I have the same issue. I have a handful of markets that have several sub-markets within them. Currently the user has to scroll through all sub-markets to choose the right one. Sometimes, the sub-markets have the same name as sub-markets in other markets. Very cumbersome that system will not let you only show the sub-markets that belong to the market you are working on.This seems like an oversight and should not be an afterthought for correction. Also, why has this not even been worked on yet?

I agree, this function would be a great benefit. For my clients I've created a workaround. Depend on which (main) category they select a calculation field right below the category field shows "direct links" to sub-categories. A click on that direct link will bring them to the right sub-section in the item (so they don't have to scroll and search).
