    Hey Cathy & Jan!

We're still monitoring the user's interest in that feature. Since we haven't received any new requests, I'm afraid at the moment, we don't have any plans in that area. If we see a bit bigger demand, we might look into the issue :) So be active with your votes! ;)

    Hey Cathy

Good question, currently you can't share links to internal servers, only using a text field and copy-pasting the text to your browser - so as a work-around perhaps you can copy-paste the link?

This is something that we really need as well.

I do know that you probably don't care, but thought it worth mentioning...

But consider the possibilities - it would enable us to use Podio as our company intranet - making it the interface to all the documents we have stored in our servers.  For various reasons it is not always desirable to upload/attach a document to a podio app - especially if it is frequently updated locally.

Adding support for file:// would surely be a minor task for you - but one that would extend your capability greatly.

Agree with Jan, we need this to be able to link to network files that are of company-wide relevance. It should be a very easy technical update to the Link field type - just add option of file://  - well, not likely to happen without more likes.
