Podio data servers
AnsweredWhat kind of security level are Podio data hosted under? Is there a PCI Compliance level for its data center?

Hi Vincent,
have you had a look at Podio's security whitepaper attached here: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201018968-Podio-Security ? Maybe that answers your questions.
Best,

You can check this link for more details on the Amazon compliance: http://aws.amazon.com/compliance/. The white paper is as far as our immediate information on this goes.

PCI compliance is only related to credit cards. The only place where PCI compliance would come into effect with Podio is where we enter our credit card details, and what happens to that data afterwards. It should not have any other relation to your client's data.
However, since this question was not answered, I'd be interested too in how Citrix/Podio stores our credit card details, and what level of PCI compliance is included (or if the card processing is outsourced, who the 3rd-party is).

The third-party is Amazon Web Services and they do have PCI Compliance Level 1.
While it doesn't really affect Podio unless you do store credit card numbers (or use them), clients may not relate that way and still believe strongly that it's a must.
Here's more info about it: http://aws.amazon.com/fr/compliance/
