Sharing apps and their content

I'd like to be able to share more than just an item, but less than a workspace. In some cases, an ideal solution would be to simply share an app.

+1 This would be incredibly useful in order for me to collaborate and manage our social media team. They need to have access to a few apps within our Marketing Workspace (Content Planner, Social Calendar, Events) but they don't need access to all of the other apps in the workspace.

If still needed, I can describe my company needs for your consideration:
We sell lighting projects, and both sales people and electricians are external. Sales people get a commission for each project sold; electricians are hired for each project.
For confidenciality reasons I cannot share the whole Projects app with them, but they should both interact in the app (update the items).
Also, some fields should not be shared to the external workers: for instance sales commission, which the electricians don't need to know.
Thank you I hope you may develop it soon, you would make a lot of people happier and more loyal to Podio =)

We did include the option to create data feeds from Podio apps and items and embed Podio data into external or internal webpages that might enable you to share specific app data without sharing full workspace:

I know this is not the exactly solution as most of you also want to offer edit capabilities and showcase the Podio app capabilities, not just the data view.

Why is Podio making things so difficult?? Can't you see this is necesary. You're acting like Microsoft instead of Google which makes things easier for people... +1 to sharing apps.. start listening to your customers or you might eventually lose them to new players like Monday and Clickup which are really great too btw

While I am not sure if Sara is still taking these requests, it couldn't hurt to ask as the post was only a few months ago. But I completely understand your needs with this capability in Podio.
