The ability to add custom fields to tasks.
https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201038678-Using-a-tasks-app is full of people requesting that tasks as more useful and they don't want to build a task app that isn't as hooked into the core of Podio as regular tasks are. To us - spending $120 per month and likely to increase over time - adding custom fields to tasks would be a real use.

I agree with this. When I have users going to their workspace and all they need to do to complete a task is select a checkbox to complete it is better than having to go to each task in an app to edit it to complete it. Same thing on a mobile device such as a phone. With the basic task, you select the check box and it is done. If you have an app, you have to go to the task in the app, then select edit, then save it. I am going to have more workers editing tasks in apps than working on the task at hand.
