    Hey Marc

Could you add a bit more description to this idea?

With boxes do you mean the badges in the badge layout or card layout?

Thanks a lot for sharing :)

For example, say you created an app and in your app you wanted to put a follow up date and a reason for the follow up. Instead of making the 2 "rows" vertical, you might want to align them horizontally. The user would need to be able to resize the template fields and move them so they could be aligned horizontally or vertically.

    IE
Date: 9/18/2014 Reason for Follow Up: Give customer an update for project #1234

I see, thanks for the helpful description :)

On a different note, do you know you can use the "tabs" to quickly move to next line when adding to an item? In this way you can add data to the form a lot faster.

@sara hoeg, I am following up with a similar question and notice that you didn't answer Marc on this stream?

    Any idea?

@Patrick J. Doliny, there is currently no solution so I don't have a good answer for Marc. We might have other options in the future but no plans short-tem!

This would be an incredibly useful option.

We're looking to integrate more departments to Podio and their main use involves completing very lengthy entries. As with Marc's requirement, we also have related fields that would make much more sense to be next to each other, instead of continuing down what is already a huge page.

With 100+ lines of data, each requires a corresponding location field. This doubles the size of the page and makes it quite easy for the user to lose their place. Having the ability to resize and set fields next to each other makes it much easier for the user's eye to follow, as many of our fields would have the same title.

    e.g

Qty of keys packed onboard  |  Location onboard

Qty of cups packed onboard  |  Location onboard

    instead of

    Qty of keys packed onboard

    Location onboard

    Qty of cups packed onboard

    Location onboard

Any progress on this feature ? I would think this would be a very popular capability ?
