Excel import "rows skipped" meaning

Hi Podio,

I'm importing a file and am getting 200/200 rows skipped. Can someone explain me when we are in the "completed" / "skipped" / "failed" scenario?
Because even when you work with unique filters, and data is being replaced instead of inserted, normally you still get completed.

FYI: my data contains 50 existing rows and 150 and I'm doing a unique check on an text field that has a structured code in it.

  Is solved, the problem was that I was inserting dates in the year 4015 instead of 2015. When you try to do this in Podio you'll get a validation error on the record. -> which then results in a "rows skipped" error.

  You'd think a log message for skipped rows wouldn't be too hard to add - would have saved me half a day of banging my head on the keyboard. Thank you for posting what it was.

  You would think there would be better error messaging on this importing tool. The message is useless AND wrong. Half a day trying to understanding what is going on on a sheet with 30 columns or more. Frustrating.

  And the data format or something was the problem. The tutorial page about importing from excel needs to bring special info about the date field. It takes hours to find out a problem. And improve the error message system.
