    Hey all,

Thanks for your patience here - I can see we owe a more detailed response! To be honest we don't have this planned in the short-term roadmap, as we do have work-arounds like using categories or tasks from workflows. For more advanced triggers in the workflows (based on date/time), we recommend Globiflow available on Premium.

I still think this is a cool idea but no news on implementation of this in the near future.

One question - what is the main difference in functionality between categories and the checklist (other than the design of the box)?

Was about to create a feature request for this as well. Really need to be able to add a checklist field. Migrating from Trello, but missing this feature. Thanks for the great app.

Bump on this one - it's really an essential part of our workflow, and migrating from Trello as well this is surely missing. Hope we will see it in a near future!

I'd love to see this too. Checklists are an important part of many business processes.

Yes we have a need for a an app that includes a checklist of 10 items. User needs to be able to check which ones have been complete and which are outstanding. Does not need to be in order.

Definitely! This feature alone is what Trello is built on and Podio doesn't even offer it at all? Not even on a basic level?

    Please integrate ASAP!

No updates I'm afraid. We just introduced new advanced workflows, perhaps they can be helpful to trigger new item creation from your category checklist?

We would also love to have the checklist option. We do a lot of work with churches so we have an immediate need for a shared, recurring Friday checklist to make sure everything is ready to go before everyone signs off for the weekend.

    Sara - still no updates?

You would think such a feature would be rather easy to implement (at least compared to the advanced workflows), and the need for it is there.

I know it may seem like a trifle but to our workflow it's really essential. It would enable us to break up entries in smaller tasks just like in Trello, Wunderlist and alike.

I believe it would be great to know whether all of these suggestions would be implemented or not. A roadmap would be the best way to know what to expect, but at least it would be helpful to know whether or not you are planning to implement a suggestion or not. Some of these suggestions are deal breakers to many of us, I believe.

Agreed - a very basic feature.

A simple solution: when adding a task make it possible to opt out of displaying it in the aggregated task area. This way the possibility to create tasks could also be used as item local check lists .....

No updates yet, we're currently looking into improving the CRM use-case for Podio (like email integration etc) but hopefully we will also get to this later this year :)

This is one of the few basic things that keeps Podio from being perfect! Please introduce a checklist ASAP (like Marc said, with the functionality of https://checkvist.com). It's a huge dealbreaker!

Yes, please add a checklist! We use a checklist perhaps more than any other type of list or component.
