    Hi Abdul,

We are still monitoring the overall interest in this feature, but at the moment, I didn't see any plans for implementation, I'm afraid.

Is there any possibility of this being added to Podio? I could use this feature also.

    Hi everyone,

We don't currently have any plans to implement this but I definitely see the use-case here. I've forwarded this to our product team to take a look, and if anything changes we'll be sure to update you here.

Yes, I would also love to be able to insert tables in a Text type field (= an extra icon in the formatting bar, like many other RTE's have)

And talking about formatting bar, it would be great if this could stay visible all the time, i.e. when you have a long text (eg Notes of a Meeting) inside a Text type field. Now you have to select some piece of text, scroll up, apply eg Bold formatting, and scroll down again to continue with your text. Or alternatively have the option to "pop-out" the text-editor to a full screen view.

That is a really good suggestion for adding table function in the text field or even a separate field. Our company some time sends out webform to many clients. If we could have this table field, it's would definitely make the webform more efficient in terms of categorizing the information we need. Looking forward to this function!

    Hi Henrik,

Can you elaborate a bit on this request please? Do you mean setting up an app template with only text fields and then using the table layout for a spreadsheet look?
You can do that if you build an app from scratch with only text fields.

    Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Existing text field (optional multiple lines) that you can insert a table in this textfelt. For example, for displaying numbers listed in columns and rows.

I think i'm asking for the same thing.  I believe it is more cosmetic for me.  I'd like to have a table format so that i can assign numbers against a series of data points specified in the left column.  is this possible?

    Hi Podio Team,

Any updates on this request?. Do we have any other  workarounds to achieve it?

    Thanks,

This is just what I need for a project I'm working on to present our platform metrics data in a table in a text field, is there a workaround for this?

Is there any workaround on inserting a table to the multiline text field? I would like to be able to copy/paste a table from MS Excel into the field and have it displayed on the PDF document Podio creates for me.

This feature must be useful for a lot of people I would imagine.
