Broadcast message

Need a way to send a broadcast message to all (or selected) workspaces or users. eg. Button for Broadcast Message, checkbox next to workspaces or users.

I saw an update from Podio on a new feature that showed up in this manner. Let us use this! :)

Six years later, I'm here to make the same request. I am not an app designer. Perhaps someone here can create this button. I would like to share an internal message with all 50 users who are in the workspace. Is there no way to do this?

You can do a @mention of the workspace name in a status update from the workspace activity screen. All workspace members will then receive a notification about the message.

If you want to send to certain members, you can @mention individuals instead.

Hope that’s what you were after.

I just wanted to apologize for this, however, we are working to improve the product for our customers on a continuing basis. You may follow our Podio blog here: https://www.sharefile.com/blog/category/podio/ for the latest updates.

In the meantime, I would echo Pete's statement for sending out messages. You may use the workspace's name to @ mention and provide a broader notification.

Also, you may group members together and invite them to Podio's chat area for conversations as well.
