How can I use a Spreadsheet command such as "ImportFeed," "ImportHTML" and "ImportXML"

I am familiar with the two way spreadsheet sync that is available from a third party, but I am not looking for anything so elegant. I am only looking for one way reporting, the export function is too laborious for my needs.

Has anyone ever used the Spreadsheet function (found in both Google spreadsheet or Microsoft Excel) commands "ImportFeed," "ImportHTML" and "ImportXML" that make calls to web pages to pull information into spreadsheets?

The information I am trying to call from my spreadsheet is contained within a Podio App table view.

I have been able to see a few of the tables (as lists) using "ImportFeed" but not the core table that contains my data in the app view.
eg: =ImportFeed(PodioViewURL,list,1 (2, or 3))

But it doesn't seem to find my data table

If you have successfully got this to work, can you provide some tips and tricks.

ps: knowing the xml page for the podio table data or an address for an rss feed to the data would help me greatly as well.
