When I'm using the search function on Podio, 99% of the time I will want to search in one specific app: the database of our suppliers' contact details. However because these suppliers are constantly submitting invoices, I'd say about 50% of the time the results that pop up in the drop down list from the search bar are from the invoicing app, rather than the contact details app.

It would be really useful if you could set the search bar at the top of the front page to search in one specific app only, as a default.

Alternatively, I have a tile on the front page for the contact details. If there was the option to add a search bar to a tile, that would be great.

It's a shame because the search bar should be one of the most useful features, but the way our system is set up it doesn't really work as well as it should.

  Thanks for all the details here.

  The popup results will always be for your entire Podio account. If you are in an app and you want to search within that specific app, you can type a search term and press Enter. This will give you search results for your inquiry, limited only to items in that app.

  Still, our product team does look to user input when considering future updates, so we appreciate this feedback. :) Thanks again!
