Android notifications bug(s)?
Noticed erratic notifications behaviour on my Galaxy S4 (KitKat 4.4) - they work sometimes:-( Further troubleshooting led to the conclusion that to make sure notifications keep working after a restart (which one is forced to perform on Android from time to time:-) or - perhaps - switching Airplane mode on and off - you MUST log out of Podio and log in again to make sure notifications work. If this is by design - I recon users need to be informed. If not - please fix this ASAP as I think some of us rely on notifications to make things work.
Are notifications supposed to "supercede" on another? I just tried a mention followed by a task (both to the same user) - when the task notification showed up, it remained the only one visible in the list, with the mention notification gone...

Hi everyone,
Just an update here to let you know Notifications is currently something we are working to improve on the Android app - both in terms of improving the experience for viewing and interacting with notifications, but also the performance issue you have seen in order to receive consistent notifications.
We just pushed an update to improve performance for push notifications 4.4 and 4.4.1 - hope the experience will improve going forward. If not, please let us know!
Cheers,
Sara - Podio

Hey Ilya,
This sounds like something we should fix. Will be great if you can get in touch in a private support request and our team can investigate further. You can contact us via "Contact support" or support@podio.com.
Please include the version of your Podio app as well.
Thanks for letting us know.
Cheers,

Hey Max, will be extremely helpful if you can reach out in a private support request with a bit more information on the problem you experience?
We released a small fix for the problem above a while back but if you still experience similar issues we need to investigate further and hopefully be able to fix it for you as well.
You can reach out via "Contact support" or support@podio.com

Sara,
This has STILL NOT BEEN FIXED! I'm now running Android 5.0 on my Galaxy S5, and can only manage 1-2 notifications from startup. Tried uninstalling/installing Podio, logging in-out etc., still no joy. Isn't it about time this was fixed - or am I the only one having notification problems on Android?
Cheers,
Ilya

Hi Ilya,
We'll continue to investigate via your Support ticket and make sure we help you fix this. Unfortunately the problem seems to be very random and only happens for specific accounts.
In the future you can always re-open your old support tickets via "My activities" in top right corner of the Help Centre. If you reply to the conversation it will automatically re-open.
Thanks for your patience!

The problem still exists on Android 5.3. It seems only happens on rooted phones.

I believe this is the same issue I'm experiencing. I have to re-login to the Podio app on Android quite often, and my phone does not receive the notifications during those times. (I eventually set up all my notifications to send me emails, but I'd really much rather have them consistently in the Android app.)
