Define data to export

Is there any way to define what data to export from an app to an excell file?
(I do not want to export all fields) and how can I filter based on date?

  Hi Podio Users,

  The excel exports of a saved or unsaved view, expect the first "All Items" view, will now only contain selected fields (fields ticked under *options*) in the Table layout!

  To export all fields, simply export the first "All Items" view. Read the Product News here.

  Hey Jan,

  When you use the filter functionality you can decide for only some rows (items) to be exported. More info here: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201019668-Exporting-to-Excel

  However it is currently not an option to decide what fields/columns to export, all fields will be exported from the items you have selected.

  Hi Sara

   

  Has there been any progress on this issues of not being able to filter the fields/columns that are exported to excel? And if not is there any plan to address this in the future? As the original post is from over a year ago now.
