    Hi Gregg,

You can delete it by clicking the wrench icon in the upper right when viewing the app, then "Cleanup deleted field values".

    Hope that helps :)

I added a calculation field to the top of an app as a header, deleted it, then when I marked as done it appears below the top name field and I can't delete it, nor can I see it when I try to edit.  I tried "Cleanup deleted field values".  Still there.

    Hi Brian,

When you deleted that field, was the box checked off for "Also remove field from existing app items" (it's checked by default) or was that unselected?

Hi - is there any update on this issue?
I have the same problem and the guide page is not helpful for this problem.

    Hi Anna Paparizou

My apologies that this is happening. When you click on the "wrench" icon in an application that has had the field removed, but not the data, you will see an option to "Clean up deleted field values" in the menu.

If you see limited options under the wrench, please have an administrator of your space double-check for you.

Testing this on my end, it was working correctly for me. You can always open up a case with our support team for further assistance and guidance here - https://support.citrix.com/cscase#/podio

Hi ... I am seeing exactly the same problem described by the users above. I created a Calculation field to auto-populate a Date Created. When I subsequently decided I wanted to remove that field, I deleted it from the template, but the auto-populated date remains. I've been through the "Cleanup deleted field values process", but despite getting a message saying "Values from deleted fields were successfully cleared", they are still there. Is there a known fix for this issue?

    Hey Joe Carruthers
I still have the same issue most of the times I try to delete a calculation field. What I do is "Cleanup deleted field values process" for a couple of times (maybe more). And every time, refresh and check. Some times it works some times it needs time. And that means next time I open Podio I won't see them.
But yes I know, it is so annoying.

    I have the same issues...
It's only regarding calculation fields, not other types of fields. The calculation field doesn't disappear after deleting it in the template and the "clean-up button" doesn't solve it.

Update.... During the next 30mins where I was updating other stuff it suddenly solved it self. My unwanted calculation field is now gone.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Mine also sorted itself out eventually. I *think* what seemed to fix it was adding another new item to the app. Might be worth trying if you get the problem again.
