    I guess you'll need http://globiflow.com for this.

I have found out that Podio only re-calculates a calculated field if one of the reference fields changes.. I've used GF to force this too but it does seem that Podio will go through and update calculated fields in it's own timeframe as well.

I guess I should have posted the solution I used to this issue.

I created a PHP script that changes a field on one record that triggers the recalculation of the associated records. Then I run that PHP once per day using a cron service.

I have two apps used for issue tracking (Tickets) and grouping (Sprints). A Sprint's Status is "Active" if the current date is between the Start date and the End date, and Tickets are associated to a Sprint. Sprint has a Status field that is set to "Next" then changed back to "Active" after a short pause using the PHP script is triggered each day. The Tickets have a field named "Active" that is a formula that has a value of "1" if the associated Sprint Status is "Active", otherwise the formula returns "0". There are several views that limit Tickets based on the Active field.
