You can't manipulate text color. The only thing you can do is use (publicly hosted) images, displayed based upon a condition, like this:

    Will get displayed like this:

I have similar requirement to specify background colour of calculation fields based on some criteria. If someone can give some idea that if this feature implemented in last couple of months or still it is pending. Do we have any other alternate method to achieve this like css background colour or any other thought regarding this.

    Thanks

We'd really like to have this too ie when viewing your items in List view, you can change the background colour of the cell in a calculation field. This would be great !

    Hi Rob,

you can only do what Adrien described in his posting. For more about that look heer https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/208392647-Cascading-Relationships-in-Calculations

But it's not shown colored in the list view.

    Thanks Rainer,

I like those separators you've done. Nice idea.

Podio - it would be nice if you implemented a few of these visual/UI ideas natively instead of the users having to hack less than ideal solutions. Rainers idea of never show fields would be good. At least one of our apps is getting pretty big, bloated by calculation fields that get used just for filtering or on our dashboard (third party app) which would be better hidden when viewing the item.

Remove the space between [] and ()( and copy/paste/modify code lines when replicating from a forum ;o).

And wrap the 2. line in quotation marks:

    "![](http ...)"
