Granular Permissions Structure
It would be awesome to be able to control user's permissions on a more granular level.
Specifically, the ability to control which apps a user has access to and at what level (read/view, edit, delete) to include hiding apps within a workspace from users.

Hi Krisjan
You can actually edit your app settings to decide that users can add comments, but not edit. Here is some help on the App Settings: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202505918-App-settings
Can this help a bit?

Sara,
The issue we have is having light member and regular members have different levels of access to items.
Admins should have the same rights. Regular members what they can now as well. Light members have all the same abilities they have now but not be able to edit items. The issue is the editing for us so having the option to discriminate between light and regular member access is important.

I'm looking for this too. Admins should be able to check or uncheck user permissions. As they all are saying, the role of guest should only be able to write comments but not editing, so couldn't mess up with the data. I need to share the project progress with my clients, but I want them to only read and comment and keep 'em away from any other project field.
I'm thinking to upgrade to the plus plan, but need this feature. Is this possible to implement?

This is a no brainer for large corporations to use this product. We have 300 employees and can only have 60 in the system atm. It'd be nice to be able to get more in the system and be able to lock them down accordingly. As it stands we are hampered in growing our user base in Podio. I have been a champion of your product for years because of its versatility, but now that our corporation is getting large, I can see why folks end up looking else where. We Do not want to! But we will have no choice if we can not get things like this fixed. Its just not sustainable.
