    I just had a thought I wanted to add. I could see how Podio might be set up this way for reasons due to billing and the desire for a free employee network. If people want to use workspaces with apps they need to pay for it. Perhaps a way around this would be to charge people for the employee network if they add apps to it.

    You're right - the current limitation is indeed the pricing model as this is based on a free employee network with all employees automatically joining via an email domain. There is a bit of complexity to adding this solution such as a change in billing, pricing, privacy of the data in the apps etc.

    Any news on this Sara? We have exactly the same situation and have had to set up an Employee network and an Employee workspace with company-wide apps in it - clumsy having two places!

    No news I'm afraid. We're currently looking to improve the functionality around apps, views, workflows etc. So this is not within the short-term roadmap.

    Hi Sara,

    Any update on this? I agree with Chris on his suggestion as it seems redundant and confusing to our users to have this "Employee Network" and then another area that also has everyone in it and contains intranet type items.
