    Hey!

We have Ruby and JavaScript in the front-end and Python in the backend :)

Our front-end is a modern hybrid web-application, with Ruby on Rails as the bottom stack, communicating to our python-based REST API. On top we have a mostly Backbone.js-based application. We are using a broad variety of technologies, like SASS/CSS, OOCSS, CometD, PhantomJS, AMD/RequireJS, Grunt, LiveReload, together with many internal developed frameworks and components, to keep our user experience bleeding-edge.

We have native iOS and Android client apps, we’re using Jenkins for CI, CocoaPods, AFNetworking, HockeyApp and our open-sourced projects POViewFrameBuilder and PodioKit.

And yes, the presentation from Auchenberg is a good story about how we build Podio back in 2011-2012.
