When I tap a Podio link in an email or calendar item on my iPhone, which has the Podio app installed, it would be great if that could automatically open in the Podio app rather than trying to run in the mobile browser. Since I do not keep my mobile Safari logged in to Podio, and I use a complex password, it would be much easier to be able to work within the app.
I have noticed that LInkedIn does this now by default - if I open LInkedIn links from within an email, for example, the LInkedIn app launches to the page rather than LinkedIn being accessed through the Safari browser. Is this something Podio's mobile app could do as well? This would make the Podio item URLs that are published to my calendar inside the calendar items infinitely more useful. For now, it is very "clunky" if I open something in my calendar that was published there by Podio and I want to edit or modify it - I have to exit the calendar, open the Podio app, navigate to the item, etc. With the URL redirect, I could just tap the URL in the Notes field inside the calendar item and be directly at the item in Podio to change times, status, attendees, etc. Likewise with responding to emailed notifications...hopefully I am not the only person that would find this a HUGE benefit?
