Activity View Disable

I have a need for disabling activity view and to enable users to go to the first App in the workspace.
Can we have a setting to either turn off the activity stream (view) or to enable to go to the first app, when user clicks on a workspace.

This will make it easier for users to see app directly rather than activity screen if its not required.

  I will add my voice to this request.

  The activity view is not useful (knowing that 'a' updated this 3 hours ago is of no value to me !), but this pane takes up half of the visible screen. Is it possible to provide the option to delete this.from My Workspace ?

  +1 for this request. how can i remove the whole activity stream from view on some of my apps? The info itself is what's important, not when it was put there, but it takes up screen space and distracts. thanks

  @ Dan, you cannot change the activity stream for now.

  Nice App but...

  None of your users have been able to understand why this activity stream is being forced upon us.

  We have no use for it, and on anything smaller than a desktop, it takes up so much valuable space it becomes unmanageable. Trying to use the app on an iPad mini is out of the question.

  I come back every so often to see if you have relented, but no, you are still digging your heels in. The last time I looked, you couldn't even explain why it was there at all - in your response to an earlier contributor, you were still trying to contrive a reason for it. Considering this is a productivity App, the irony is excruciating.

  If you believe it is such a benefit, you could put it to the test. Give your users the option to keep or delete it, and see how it pans out.

  Hi Alan,

  Thanks much for your feedback. We have no current plan of removing the activity stream but it might be something we can make optional in the future. Many of us use the stream as a way to keep on top things happening within a workspace and do feel it's bringing a great value. I can see the point of it being more flexible in terms of space though and will make sure to keep you posted about any updates on this.

  Having the activity feed on all the time in all apps is a possible deal breaker for us. It is just very unnecessary to have the information most of the time - please provide a feature to turn it off or minimise.
