Is anyone else finding it a challenge to merge text fields in the new advanced calculations

I am trying to get date and a text field to appear next to each other in a calculation but I keep on getting an error is anyone getting the same?

  Maybe, the mixture of date and text is not playing well in your formular. Have a look on http://momentjs.com/docs/ to get explainations and samples, how date calculations should be done properly.

  Suresh – an additional hing: the type of a Calculation fields can't be changed after first save. It will recognize it's type of result (number, date, text) automaticly.

  So, if you want to change the calculation from date to text with date ('datefield' + 'textfield'), it's also a change of the result type. This will cause an error, when trying to save. The only way is: deleting the calculation field and creating another one with the new formular.
