Does Excel Import function trigger webhooks?

Hi there.
Like the title says, does Excel Import trigger item.create webhook?

  Yes it does. Which is good and bad. For large imports it can take a while for all the hooks to fire and you do run into API rate limit problems as well..
  Its a bit tricky with larger files.
