If only one item in App, display that item full width (as though selected)
Because of the workflow I have created, I have a workspace for each client and an app for each deliverable. This means that if a client is having a logo created, the discussion for that deliverable along with images, progress slider, etc., will be the only created item for that app (or deliverable). i.e. A client is probably only going to have one website, one logo, etc. so there will only ever be one item inside the 'Logo' app or 'Website' app in that client's workspace.
Having the item open is the best way to use it (rather than the stream view, card, etc. which makes more sense for several items in an app). When there is only a single item, is it possible to have the app open to its single item, 'maximized' as it were, not in a list or calendar or grid as though it were one of many items?
This could also work for a workflow that uses multiple items per item by making a single item a 'favorite' or sticky, so that it will be opened by default when the app is selected from the Workspace -if there are no items yet created, then open the new app item creator automatically.

A good idea. I tried that and it works -to a degree. Here is the downside as I see it though. It is not something that happens automatically, I will have to create that every time we have a new client/workspace (a couple times a week). If the sales team logs in and instead clicks on the logo app instead of the link on the workspace Activity page, they are probably just going to be confused about how to add notes, uploaded images, etc, because they will only see a calendar, an activity stream, a card layout, etc. and they will leave and just start emailing me instead, because they know how to do that.
I know it seems silly, but I'm trying to make it as simple as possible for them to use. Fewer clicks to get to the part where they can make comments about the logo or website, etc. while they have the design brief (the form they filled out in the app item) there in front of them (because the app item is already opened).
