Converting leads to clients

I'm quite a new user to Podio and we're setting up an CRM for our sales team. For us it's important to change an incoming lead to a new client, however we can't find any way to convert into a new customer inside Podio. Is there any way to do this?

  I believe there's no automatic way to this in Podio itself. People usually recommend to recreate the lead as a client in the clients app (tedious), or otherwise to have a single "Leads & Clients" app, with a category field which toggles a lead to a client. If you're really wanting 2 separate apps and want to automatically create a "Clients" item from a "Leads" item, then you could look at using PodioFlow (add-on product by Podio partner company) to achieve this. Podio has recently improved their out-the-box workflow capabilities, but does not yet offer item creation in a 2nd app, based on a value change in another app. This may change later in the year though.
