is there a way you can turn off the sound of your notifications? I would still like to get notifications from all the projects I am following- but the volume hurts my ears....

    Hey Maggie

You can turn off the sound via the Email and Notifications tab: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201019968-Email-notifications

Click "My account", "Account Settings"; then select Email & Notifications and turn off the sound from here :)

Is there a way that you can only get notifications when your @name is mentioned?

Notifications are very noisy at the moment because multiple changes are made on multiple organisation, leads, projects etc daily and all the people mentioned on those apps are receiving notifications every single time I change something... which isn't necessary.  Sometimes I'm updating hidden information also, that doesn't require their knowledge.  So it kind of defeats the purpose of having hidden information if they're being notified about it.  Maybe notifications is linked to the profile type and only admins get notified about everything?

    Hi Shelley,

If you go to your Notifications tab, you'll see an option that includes @mention but it will also include a few other options such as given a task or added to a project.
