First off, I just discovered Podio and am blown away! I'm in the process of trying to create my own app to manage my IT companies service requests and need a little help with the webform options. I basically need a way to tie a company to a support ticket. In Podio this is no issue and works flawlessly, but the webform is where I'm stuck.
I have the "Companies" app in my testing workspace and am using an app reference in my own "Tickets" app. I plan on embedding the form on a page in my website, and that app reference field is currently a drop down box. For privacy, I don't want all of my clients listed in a massive drop down box (plus I've read that there is a limit any way, which won't work for me). Is there a way to make that a text box and use AJAX or something to lookup the company that they type in?
I'm in the IT field, and also have quite a bit of coding experience, so if this is only possible through the API perhaps someone can point me in a good direction to learn how to accomplish this.
Also, if there's a better way to approach this, I'm all ears.
