We need separate language option and localization settings
Podio currently offers the option to select your language, not localization. This is a problem, since the two of them don't always go hand in hand.
Case in point:
In multilingual organizations, english is often the language used and thus the preferred language for both content and user interfaces. With money, however, you need unambiguous rules for thousands separator and decimal separators. When using british english, the thousands separator is a comma and the decimal separator is a period. For, say, german, it's the other way 'round. This has the potential to easily generate catastrophic errors in data entry.
This problem is further emphasized by the Podio mobile app. It uses every user's phone's individual settings for both localization and language. If that language is available in Podio, that is – otherwise it'll revert to english (not sure which one, there's no indication). There's no way to match these with the Podio web service settings.
