    Hey Roberto,

At the moment we only have support for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad). We might build an app for Windows Phone in the future but no plans to far. Appreciate your feedback and idea (we heard this before from other users as well).

    Cheers,
    Sara - Podio

    Beta testers wanted!

Hi everyone, we know that there are a plethora of Windows Phone users out there, who have been hankering after an app that lets them work with Podio. Well, we at Oval Business Solutions have been working hard to develop something (unofficial) and are nearly at a stage where we'll be looking for people willing to try out the beta version.
If that's you, please click the banner on our homepage or visit our blog article http://bit.ly/1iLMJSE to complete our 'register interest' form, and we'll keep you posted on what you need to do and when.

    Thanks!

Please do. I think you will find increasing use of WIndows phones. The reason I bought one was to provide integration with our office Exchange server, because I am a mobile employee. It is a major downcheck to have to access Podio on the go through a web browser instead of an app.

We are now at a point where we are considering replacing podio with a couple of other tools because of no windows phone app. I'm particularly frustrated, that despite numerous request from many people, this is just not making the action list for Podio.

  • Hi @Michael,

Sorry to hear. As you can see in this list we already have a long list of other top-requested features: https://help.podio.com/hc/communities/public/topics/200069188-1-Feature-Requests?filter=votes - unfortunately the Windows app has not been prioritized just yet. However our partner from Oval Business Solutions is currently working on an app for Windows if you are interested.

They will keep you posted here when something is ready :)

    Cheers,
    Sara - Podio

By saying you "haven't prioritized" that app what you are in effect saying is that you are willing to ignore 10% of your customer base. Either be honest and tell us you won't do it, or be honest and tell us you will, and when. Pushing it off on a "partner" is not helpful, when their embedded link goes to a 404.

I attend a Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.1 app ... I love Podium but I work with Microsoft platform (smartphone, pc, tablet...) and it's so sad that there isn't a dedicated app ...

I would very much support the development of an app for Windows Phone. This is now the most popular OS in Italy and will pick up also in other countries, expecially within the business community.

I paid for the third party app you folks want us to use. It was completely worthless. You need to step up.

I would really like to see a windows store app - our company along with many other software dev and software support companies are now exclusively using windows phones. They are great - we are not moving from our phone system now so please build the app. As windows 10 will unify the os across phone, tablet and desktops, surely now is the time. Anyway i'm sure it'll be in the works so i look forward to using it when it is - we can then thinking about rolling podio out to our teams. cheers

I once again implore you to write your own app for the Windows phone. As I mentioned earlier, I spent $2.99 USD on the third-party app you point to and it is completely worthless. No chat. No task function. As bad as working in a phone browser. I agree with the comment that with Windows 10 coming out (and likely a new generation of Windows tablets) this is the time for you to step up and get this done. It is one thing to work on functionality for badges (niche fix) and another to take a step that will vastly improve your market share. Ask your financial backers which is more important!

We would really like a Windows 8.1 phone app for Podio. Just like the iPhone and Android users out there.
