Preview PDF's etc

I can preview jpegs i attach to events but not pdf's. I have to download them and open them in adobe, life wpould be much simpler if i could simply preview them online, same goes for word docs etc

  This was the exact feature I look for. It should not be so hard to add it. Just an easy sneak peak view and an inline previewer that caches the PDF where I can read my document locally over Podio.

  Yes, please please please. This is our main gripe with using Podio for document storage.

  And as much as pointing us to the API documentation is nice, it would be nice to see this supported out of the box.

  I really need this feature as well - I can't download everytime I need a preview - that's making me crazy.

  I use firefox and can do this no problem. You may need to go into your browser settings and set your default PDF reader to preview..the preview is in a new window but very quick. I would prefer if it was a split screen so you could approve an invoice for example while looking at it.

  I can't speak to the other participants in this thread, but that is not what I mean with previewing. If you have a jpg in a Podio item, it shows on the item screen. That is the functionality I would like to see in Podio. Opening a bunch of tabs isn't always handy and there are a number of use cases where it's desirable to seethe document right there in Podio.

  I understand you, this is ideally what I would want. I want to be able to view an invoice in the same screen as I fill out the data and likewise when someone approves it. However, I was under the impression that were talking about something else as they were using the word download, which there is not in my example. Apologies if I have misunderstood.
