Display future repeating meetings on calendar

Currently, only the next meeting in a recurring meeting series displays on the Podio calendar. This is not very helpful as often other things get scheduled for times when a recurring meeting is set in the future, thus making the recurring feature almost unusable. Please show future occurrences of repeating meetings on the calendar.

@Sara: this issue has been open since... September 2013... almost 3 years, and no solution so far.
Would you be so kind as to provide us all with an ETA on this feature? Some of us really need to reconsider this issue when evaluating future purchases and/or renewals...

The way the repeating calendar entries are working is really far from what everybody is used to from other tools with a calendar function...
Things that I'm missing in detail:
- I'd like to have a description that will be the default for all recurring events (default)
- I need to see those repeating / recurring events on my calendar immediately
- I would like to adjust the (default) description and potential other information for the one or other (individual) future event
- It would be ideal to having the choice to have changes of an individual event apply to the particular event only or to all of the future events of this recurring series
Would be just great to see these improvements in the near future!

I've just gotten off a call with a major client. We set up their Podio workspace for their project and used it with their whole team. Imagine my dismay when they asked why our standing weekly meeting only shows the next two weeks and is not actually recurring. I thought I was doing something wrong, but no. It's a massive feature fail in Podio. In looking on here I see that this has been a request for 3 years. That's a seriously long time. Do you realize how much technology has changed in three years? And yet you can't figure this out? Here's what I really don't understand - why have the recurring button at all if it really does not work? And why not have an explanation or a pop up that says, "Warning. Meetings can only recur for two weeks."
For those of us dealing with clients we have to put holds on calendars or that spot gets taken.
I now have to go through and hand enter 52 weeks worth of meetings. Any idea how long that's going to take me and how much it's going to cost me in billable hours? For how much I'm paying per month for Podio this should work.
I'm seriously disappointed.

Unless I am doing something wrong, you still cannot see the repeating meeting in Outlook and can only see it through the Podio calendar. I don't want to enter a meeting into 2 places but I need my Outlook calendar to show that I have a meeting at that time. It seems this request has been ongoing for 3 years! Does it take Podio 3 years to make all upgrades? Seems unreasonable.

I do think this feature is basically useless without being able to appear on external calendars as well, since it's quite a lot to ask for everyone to be using Podio calendars to the exclusion of all others (especially since most people keep track of events on their phones -- which can sync many calendars for both personal and business purposes -- and not through their browser/the buggy Podio app). I understand that it's a tricky request, but is there really no work around?
