App reference by Unique ID

    Hey guys, a small update on the search for unique ID via app reference field: - it should work with the full id when searching in the reference field. If prefix, then you need to search for prefix + unique id.

    In case you experience problems on this, please let us know via a private support ticket.

    So the # tip is no longer valid :)

    Hey!

    That is already possible. If you want to use the unique ID in the app reference field, you can hit #[id] to find them.

    Hi Sara,

    I would love to use this as I am building a Support Knowledge base app that will link back to an Incident Ticket app that has a unique id on each ticket. I followed your steps above but nothing happens?

    Could you elaborate a bit further so I can follow step by step?

    You should type # before the ID to have it show up? If it doesn't work it would also be great to let us know in a private ticket, maybe with a screenshots to show what is not working.

    Sara - I don't think this is working anymore. I can't get the App Reference to work when searching for a Unique ID. I submitted a ticket. My problem is that I can't get the App I want to connect to show up in the drop down list.
