Cloning item to copy also the tasks attached to it

Let's say I have a Feature entry which I want to use as a template, with three tasks that these will be required for every feature.

At the moment, if I close a Feature, the tasks are not included which means I have to create them from scratch each time.

Can you please consider this as a Very good to have feature?

  Have you considered creating an automatic workflow in the app instead? You will then automatically create new tasks when a new item is added: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201194467-Automating-workflows

  Thought I had finally found the perfect software for our business, but this one missing element makes it unusable for us :( To have to re-create all the tasks associated with a recurring project will just not work for us.

  I +1'd it. This feature is really a make or break part of the solution for me. I'll keep looking for possible workarounds, such as creating a task app as suggested above.

  You should be able to re-order the tasks if created in the same workflow trigger (from the workflow page). Perhaps this can help? If not, it will by ordered by due date.

  We're looking into better way of connecting tasks in the future but can't promise anything specific.

  When I create a project by a workflow, tasks are created. But maybe I want to add a specific task to that project and I want to reorder tasks in that project. That's what I meant by task reoder.

  Seriously guys, your product is greatm, but cloning projects without tasks is a show stopper.

  I was going to recommend your product to a friend of mine who owns a small business but I won't.

  It is tedious to recreate the 20-30 tasks required for each new project.

  Please make this change asap or you loose other potential customers.

  I am testing Podio and we have MANY tasks attached to each project element that need to be included when cloning.  The automatic workflow is only available in the Plus and Premium tiers, not the trial. Users require efficiency.  This may be a deal breaker. :(
