Separate app editing from comments within app items in notifications

My list of notifications includes 20-50 new posts per day, mostly consisting of item additions and edits and file uploads. It's not essential to me that I be aware of each of these. A few notifications are comments on items, and it's critical that I read and respond to these. Unfortunately, the item additions and edits overwhelm the comments, making it easy to miss a comment.

I'd like to have a way to filter notifications so I just see messages and comments. Note that the comments I am referring to are not messages, so the message view does not separate them out.

This feature would make notifications much more useful. It would also be useful to have a way to direct just messages and item comments to be sent to me by email. If all notifications are sent, I am overwhelmed with unnecessary emailed notifications.

I'm also looking for a way to filter only comments.

If you do a review of your tasks and edit some tasks or projects the Stream is full of useless entries.

Because of that many important comments are not seen by the team.

I'd also like to see an update to notifications, especially with the new Podio.

I would just like to be notified when a new entry has been made to an App. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

In the old Podio (last week) when you modify an App there was a set of other function below, that is now gone... I think in there it had a notification setting but I'm not sure now that it's gone.

Podio can you please make notifications more flexible and or add filters to notifications.
