I'd also like to see an easier way to 'scroll' through the huge list of workspaces my company has. It's a pain to find new spaces via scrolling - also an index or Table of Contents; a site map that is easy to view and to join multiple workspaces.

Please make this happen. All the Hero stuff is at the top of every new feature you are rolling out! I don't want to delete it, but I need my stuff to be front and center. Thanks!

+1 for this. We have clients that we interact with all the time and want these workspaces at the top and others moved to the bottom.

    • another supporter of correcting this oversight, it seems like a pretty basic capability for any program to have and considering all that you can customize to fit the needs of your organization on Podio it makes no sense that the workspaces are static.

    Hi Guys,

Great feedback! As you know, you cannot reorganise the workspace on the left. We have an algorythm that determines your most used workspaces and automatically orders it for you :)

    Dominik,

So turn off the algorithm and let us order them how we see fit.

I would really like to reorder the workspaces on the left as well.

I am in great need of this feature. It would also be nice to list all of the workspaces by default instead of the current algorithmic short list that we always have to expand (via the "More Workspaces" link). The way it works now is not intuitive and keeps things hidden.

The number one problem/question I get from users is "I don't see that workspace on my list." If the user constantly has to initially click "More Workspaces" to get to the areas they work in, it is very annoying. It creates an immediate barrier to entry the way it works now.

I am curious what the logic is to keeping the list so short?

    Hi Dominik,

This algoritm doesn't really work at least in my case.

Hi Guys - Unfortunately there are currently no plans for this - but we are constantly reevaluating ideas and how to improve our features.

If you did not know already you can use the keyboard to navigate to your workspaces, apps and even create an item quickly.
Hit the G key to bring up the workspace navigator, continue to write the name of the workspace or app you want to go to, and hit Enter - And to create an Item in the app hold Shift and hit the Enter key.

Thanks for sharing - and please keep them (the votes) coming - Every vote brings us one step closer!

Yes, please allow for sorting of the workspaces in the left sidebar!

Would also love to see this - 4 years later it's still a much needed feature.

    Hello,

I am new to Podio. Is there an update on this request? Thanks.

    Hi Azi,

My apologies, currently we are not working actively right now on this particular request. However, a couple of suggestions that may help you.

First, I will typically use the search bar located in the upper left-hand corner in the blue bar of the web browser page to search and find a specific workspace.

Alternatively, and more of a short-cut, is to rename the workspace such as "a_workspace, b_workspace" as the spaces tend to line up alphabetically. While this is more of a work-around, it may help you out some. However, if you are apart of several organizations, the algorithm may place one org over another.

Beyond this, in the mobile version of Podio, you can "Favorite" a workspace and see it at the top of your "Browse" section in our mobile app.

Hope this helps everyone a little bit more!

    Best,

    Dana - Podio

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen not be implemented in a CRM. Completely lazy on the developers part.
