Gantt Charts for projects
A common feature of project management software are Gantt Charts, providing a good overview of the timespan of projects, visualising milestones and deadlines and providing a quick overview about time planning. Is this feature planned or could this be realised?

Sadly the old Gantt for Podio won't be online again. However I can see that you've signed up for early access, and I'll make sure that you're included in the beta. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you guys can hold out until the beta is up and running.

The strange thing is how you don't leave any space to this basic issue of each serious project management tool.
We all love your product and appreciate his potential, but we absolutely need this integration INTO Podio.
I've exchanged my opinion with your partner Anders Bendix Kiel, that built SmartGantt, but this is not the solution we'll use.
Not in this way. I think that a good compromise could be the execution of it (and of many other external feature/app) into a integrated box built like a module. Is it so unrealizable? -

@Filipe, thank you for your feedback. Our support is always ready to help, if you have any questions or need any help. Scroll should work perfectly. We have not received any support tickets with users having problems with scroll.
It sounds like it has been some time since you tried SmartGantt. At least, we rolled out a lot of improvements a couple of weeks ago. Among these were advanced filtering and improved scaling. :-) Please have a look.
I am so happy that you mention PDF and printing. These are on out work list right now. :-)
Which specific things did you find difficult? We are very much open to user inputs and are working hard to improve SmartGantt all the time.

Can anyone explain why podio ignores gantt? I cannot believe that these guys cannot see advantage to have this in one bundle. I use about 20 other external web apps for my business and honestly I do not want to use other one (smartgantt.com) just to have gantt view. This must be in podio - I thing that podio can win the battle if the basic features will be in one place - mainly gantt and time tracking - otherwise there are better products out there. I just hope that podio will not ignore to include one the most required feature.

Posted about a year ago asking for this. No change from Podio which is disappointing. Just re-visited the http://gantt.bendixkiel.org/ one and it's much improved in that time. Worth another look for those, like me, who have previously dismissed it due to being clunky and basic.

This recently came up at our workplace and yes, we really need this feature too. SmartGantt is NOT a solution, as it is not fully integrated, requires a separate login, and hosted on a completely different website.
One suggestion: add a "year" option to the calendar layout as a first step toward this. Then at least I can see how all my projects display the entire year. If Podio developers are looking to add simplicity, and can't imagine anything more simple!
