Allow only a singled specified user to edit a particular field or record in an App

I would like to specify that a certain field within a record can only be edited by a particular person.  In addition, I would like to be able to set this also at the App level such that only a certain person or group of people can edit an App.

  Hi Matthew,

  You can control this through the advanced app settings. You find them through the wrench icon next to your app name - here you choose App Settings --> Advanced and check the relevant boxes to not let members edit items.
