Yeah, guys, I think you can stick a fork in Podio; they appear to be done since the Citrix acquisition (despite what they may say, their actions haven't proven otherwise).

They haven't even updated their press releases since they were acquired (not much new to talk about?):

    https://company.podio.com/pressreleases

They've had about as many truely useful feature releases since then (zero).  Live comments are hardly a feature, guys!  My hunch is the eng team didn't make the xfer over to Citrix with the rest of the company...

I love Podio, but I think it is time they be honest with us here...

@Benjamin Dill - I've felt exactly the same way about Podio; excited when I discovered it but since have become more and more disenchanted with it.  My main client that I moved to Podio hates it and is going to move off it as soon as they can. I've emailed you.

I  love Podio, and so I've spent countless hours trying to create workarounds after workarounds and more hours sharing requests and ideas with the Podio team.  It's been over a year for me, and my comments, questions, ideas have dwindled down to almost nothing at this point - with the exception of this post.  I guess I gave up.  Got tired of being a Podio nag.

I'd hoped for things like more admin control, granular permissions settings, the ability to hide/mark certain apps fields as private (viewed only by select users), and a way to print business appropriate project status reports.  Lastly, without a global view across projects, I've had to turn to other products such as Smartsheet to manage timeline critical projects.  I still use Podio as a task manager - that much is great, and the potential for it to be the best PM tool is still there, but it seems that Podio's dev team have their own priorities and vision for Podio, and we have no way of knowing what we're  holding our breaths for.  Add to this how inappropriate it is to expect us to seek out developers to customise apps via Podio API when we have no way of knowing what features are down the road.  I love Podio, but Podio doesn't seem to love me back :  (

Well one reason why many requested features aren't added is because staff spends time peeking through your data to add email domains to your Employee Network. And in my case, they added an email domain to our Employee Network without approval from anyone at our Company, and it ended up being the domain of a vendor, not one of our companies. So a completely separate Company had full access to our Employee Network where we discuss confidential information. PRIVACY FAIL.

Why is Podio not responding? I think we need an explanation here!

We just stopped considering of any migration from any other client. Bye bye Podio!

All: we are ready to beta test the bulk delete feature. Please let me know if you'd like to be part of that testing effort and you will get it enabled on your account. Email phil@podio.com using the address you use for Podio. Sorry this has taken so long, we're staffing up a lot right now to turn around these things faster.

@Phil: staffing up doesn't help if you give priority to nice-to-have features instead of important (user requested!) usefull features.

My confidence in Podio as a reliable business tool is gone.

@Phil - issue has been fixed. A Podio associate sent over a list of domains they were adding to our employee network, and when I didn't approve the list, assumed it was fine to add them all. Problem was I didn't review the list (which is why I didn't approve it) and it contained domains of companies that aren't under our Corporate umbrella. (Kind of like including Jive Software or Bitrix24 employees in the Citrix Employee Network on Podio...kind of scary!)

What's also concerning is that no one would ever assume the domain added was a Company under our umbrella, as there is no place that publicly would list them as one of our companies (as it isn't). So someone had to be looking around our account and seeing who we communicate with to make that assumption - which is also concerning - especially with so many outstanding development requests!

Anyway, after a few tries I got a half-apology (an 'i understand your concern and will let the associate know  so it doesn't happen again') whereas it started with trying to prove me wrong, but that's the Podio way it seems!

Stephan - sorry to hear that, but best of luck with whatever product you choose next.

Andrew - I've reviewed the notes and we are going to change our internal process here so that domains can only be added on receipt of written confirmation from a customer.

    Hey @Jason Cara,

I would follow our blog for news about product updates, not the company press release page (I will ask our team to get this updated btw): http://blog.podio.com/

We use the blog for all product updates and hopefully you will see here that we released much more than just live commenting the past year.

    Hey @Phil...

Thanks a lot for this beta feature testing opportunity. I also appreciate how quickly you implemented this feature for me. By all early accounts it looks to be a game changer.

Look forward to using it a little more and will be back with any feedback.

Thanks again for prioritizing this -- a huge barrier for enterprise customers using Podio has just been removed.

Add us to the beta test please.  We are currently using the javascript work around.  Would love to finally have the feature available in the interface.

+1 for this, especially if we can mass delete or MASS EDIT other things, like tasks.

I frequently need to postpone 5 or 10 tasks at once and I need to move them to a specific date in the future, nit just next week.

@Andrew Harrison and @Podio team, can someone please share with me how Podio handles privacy (the handling of data and our client/users contact information?  We've been experiencing complaints from guest users re "the liberties Podio seems to take with their email addresses."  This is critical for us being as Canadian law requires stringent privacy and permissions measures.

    Bulk actions are tremendously important!!!

While bulk delete is extremely important, being able to bulk tag, or bulk change a date is huge.  If I have a particularly unproductive day and have 20 tasks that are now overdue, manually changing the date on each one is extremely time consuming and annoying.

+1 Amanda!!!   Efficiency is key for me and the little things that maintain productivity are essential!  I too have the same annoyances.

@David Perry, can I ask you something? You mentioned that you paid programer to consolidate data across workspaces. I may have same problem. We have few offshore offices and they all have client app in their individual workpace. Our central office would love all client items in one APP, but offshore offices have to have different language web forms and they do not want to see each others clients. The problem is consolidation of data into one for our central office use. Is this what you had to do? Has your programer achieved desired? How is it working for you if my casestudy matches your situation? How is the app referencing working? I assume that data is first exporte and than imported. Are App references preserved? Thank you very much for your reply.

Ha, just 2 hours ago, I needed this function. I read most of the comments in this blog and went ahead deleting individual items as I saw people awaiting this function for 6 months now. When I finished deleting them manually and individually, I got this email :). No problem, was not that many. I had a good laugh.

I have to admit, i'm still in absolute shock over the amount of time it took for such a simple feature to be delivered. Almost 1 whole year!!
