Hey all,
Bulk delete is now out for everyone. Please see the blog post and the Help Centre article for more info about it.
Thanks for all your feedback, it's very appreciated by all of us.

I've tried clicking me the link (http://pastehtml.com/view/cqeztvnt7.html) but I can not get in there. Are there any of you know where there is a guide to how to get the function implemented.
-
I tend to paste the original code from @Joram van den Boezem (above). For some reason though when I paste it, it removes the 'javascript:' at the front so I have to retype that in. Other than that it works fine. Make sure you are on a podio page in table view when you do it. I've not got the bookmarklets to work either, but that would be icing on the cake - this is a good workaround while we are waiting for Podio to get it sorted.

For those that want quick access to the script created by Joram, do the following:
Create a bookmark in your bookmarks toolbar and name it Mass Delete or something similar. In the URL field, paste the javascript code created by Joram.
Anytime you want to use the mass delete functionality, make sure you are in an app and viewing your records in table view. Click the link in your bookmarks bar and watch the magic.

I appreciate that you're asking us to be patient on this one. I think the entire community is just confused as to why such a simple feature like this can take so long to roll out.
I for one have a number of other issues with Podio and suggestions i'd like to propose, but i havent submitted them yet due to a lack of confidence in it being addressed in a timely manner.
We love your product but wish things could be addressed in a more agile way. Perhaps some exposure / insight into the development activities currently being worked on would help demystify the situation and give the community confidence that although 'item A' is not being worked on right now, items B, C and D are.

@benjamin dell - you and several others! i've come to realize, if you want to be a Podio customer, you play by their rules as they do 80% what they think is best / 20% what customers want (when I'd argue it should be flipped). countless people ask for some sort of roadmap so they don't continually role out 'nice to have features' (like their recent podio live commenting they made a big fuss about) instead of must-have features customers are asking for, but that doesn't seem like it will ever happen.

It will almost be a shame when they fix this as it's becoming a great case study for me talking to clients on how badly you can run your development process and still let your customers slate you on your own forum without rebutting any of it. This is getting out of hand, but as Andrew says, there is no sign they are going to try to fix it according to user priorities. It makes you wonder whether Cisco really want this business to succeed. Perhaps it's enough of a cash cow they are just sitting on it while they count the fees coming in.
If a competitor springs up, Podio has done a nice job of establishing that a market exists so they should certainly get investment! See you on kickstarter in five mins...

I run a web / software development firm here in the UK so the development aspect is not an issue. For those that feel they want to play a genuine part in doing something to right these wrongs (we need finance, legal, marketing, design), then please email me directly at ben@rawjam.co.uk. Kickstarter beckons!
@David Parry - couldn't agree more. One must wonder whether the Cisco buyout has been a contributing factor here.
