    If Add/Delete User api are not supported functionality (though most Saas providers out there do have provisioning APIs). What is the recommended workflow for creating a user. Can we API generate a invite-email given a emailId by an user.

    Hi Venu,

    You can use the Podio API to add/remove members to/from a workspace via the API using these operations:

    You cannot create Podio users via the API (usually adding them to a workspace serves the same purpose) nor can you delete a Podio user via the API (that's a little too destructive for our taste. Remember a Podio user can belong to more organizations than yours).

    Thank you. A followup. 1) Is there a way to send an invite to join Podio (given an email).  2) Have the invite link push them into the desired workspace as soon as they respond to  the email. This will solve our provision workflow, as far as the deprovisioning goes, I think we will live with deprovision from workspace.

    Here is our usecase:

    1. A partner interacts with our onboarding portal at foo.com. Enters email. Requests Access to a workspace, say "project-A". 

    2. Portal needs to send an email link to the user, which takes him to Podio signup page, User completes the enrollment process.  And is automatically placed as member of Project-A workspace.

    Hi Venu,

    Just use the Add Member to Space operation I linked you to previously. That will force people through the normal procedure for creating a Podio account (and automatically handle cases where people are already Podio users). You can skip Step 2 that you outline. As soon as you add a member to a workspace they will receive an email from Podio prompting them to create an account.
