Hi. I am starting the redesign of a web app and I would like to have a CRM as the core of the whole infrastracture.
From my perspective looks awesome: I can model data on Podio and have a ready to work application on Podio, then I just need to build a customer app built on the Podio API that read/write on Podio.
I am concerned about possible limitations that can come up in the, not so far, future. I know I can model the core business in Podio, but maybe something will not work out. Any idea or past experience?
for example I am wondering about some non-trivial queries or how to apply some data mining stuff to provide for example, recommendation or trending items. I was thinking about using a webhook to sync data to external systems, like an elastic search or more specific repositories.
Anyway, the basic question is: instead of creating my DB and then a CRM/backoffice from scrathc, I start modeling data and flows on Podio, then build the customer app on top of Podio existing features, eventually adding external, dedicated systems as needed.
What do you think?
