App Reference Field Update using Zapier
AnsweredZapier does not currently support the App Reference field via their integration. I am assuming this is due to a lack of understanding of how the Podio API works and as a result I am attempting to help them get it figured out so I can use it on a customer project.
App A Screenshot = http://www.screencast.com/t/hHbJm8fKG4Q -- In App A I have manually selected the App Reference '301 Project'. This referenced item is simply a URL (".../projects/item/56446700") and data-item_id="56446700".
Zapier Screenshot = http://www.screencast.com/t/5MjH8hTNNSM -- In Zapier you will notice that I can manually select either of those fields to place into an app reference field if it were allowed to be populated. They were willing to make that field available to me so I could attempt to write data to it, however, I am getting the following error when attempting to write data to that refereced field.
Every value I attempt to place in the App Reference Field gives me the following error. {Invalid field 36157103 ('value'): Invalid value u'https://epitomegroup.podio.com/projects/item/58484386' (string): must be integer}
Based on the Podio API https://developers.podio.com/doc/items/update-item-reference-7421495 the 'Item_Id' should be sufficient, right? However, when attempting to write just the 'Item_Id' I get the following error. {Invalid field 36157103 ('value'): Invalid value u'58484386' (string): must be integer}
Questions
- Could it be that the leading 'u' is creating the issue?
- What values are required to post to or update the app item reference field?

Did Zapier ever get this figured out? The relationship field is working in Zapier, however I can't figure out how to get it to automatically reference the item in another app when I am making a zap that creates a new item in another app when a specific button is pushed in the first app.
Hope that makes sense!
