Bulk update items?
AnsweredWe would like to update like 200 items in one API call. Is this possible (like setting a category field)?
For now the only option I see is uploading a file and import it. But I am not sure it will update or add items.

For now you only have two options:
- Update each item individually
- Upload an excel file and use the importer. The interface can be a bit daunting, but it will do the trick. You specify columns that should be treated as unique (this will control whether existing items will be updated or new ones will be created
We do plan on offering a bulk update API operation, but we are not there yet.
All the best,

Yes,
while we are developing more and more into Podio, this is getting quite an issue. Setting several items at once for a certain status is pretty much needed, now I kick into a rate-limit quite fast if we don't watch out.
Just posting big JSONS in the POST request would be great.

+1... I've recently integrated Zapier into my workflow which has made my customer outreach monumental (ie as items change from one to the other specific email templates get sent out with parsed data referencing that specific client's order info). An update like this could help me turn my podio system into an enterprise class business where it seems like we're hundreds of employees. Please consider this update along with printing reports (and by reports I mean "reports" - not the analytics you all call "reports" which is super confusing)

BULK UPDATE ITEMS. Please look at what all these users are saying on behalf of thousands of other users, unheard. This should be a PRIORITY because of the efficiency it would create. Currently, updating hundreds of items is grossly inefficient as it involves huge amounts of time and effort.
I believe Podio is all about creating efficiencies so this is directly aligned with your mission. Could you please bump this up to the highest priority?
