Hide Unselected Category options in Sample Json Value field

Is there a way to hide unselected category options once the app content has been saved by a user.  It's only when a user goes to edit the content should it show all available options.  I'm super noob to this stuff but it looks like I can enter a value/class/string In the "Sample Json Value" fields that may execute that command.

 

currently this is what's in the field now ---     "email-1": integer_value_of_option

  Hi Ben,

  It is not possible to change the look-and-feel of the Podio User Interface with our API.
