  I agree.  Or, I'd like the option to move the activity stream tile to a different location in my home space.  Is this possible?

  yes please allow and option to disable activity stream. our homepages could be consolidated perfectly without it.

  Yes, I want to move/minimize/delete the home activity stream. It's the least important tile on my dashboard but it takes up most of the screen real estate.

  I also agree. It is not necessary for my purposes and it takes up a huge amount of space that I would use for other things. An option to turn it off? Maybe, at least, make the size flexible so it can be minimized.
