Filter items on fields from app-reference!
AnsweredWe are walking into a wall in the following use case:
We have companies, and companies have contacts. We have a 'contacts' app and a 'companies' app.
Companies can have a member status (gold, bronze, silver)
Now, I want to list all contacts of the companies with a certain member status.
How can we do this?

If you filter to see all companies having member status gold as example, you can save this view in table layout and hide fields so you only see the contact field in the list?

Well yes but then I only have the 'app reference' title (like the first field of the referenced app).
I am afraid I am not expressing myself okay... lets go picture it:
CONTACTS:
first last age company (app reference)
jan janssen 35 a
piet pieters 25 a
henry boo 23 b
anton antons 40 b
peter peters 42 c
peter antons 24 aCOMPANIES
name status
a gold
b silver
c goldI want to find ALL contacts and ages, where all companies are GOLD.
It should return
jan janssen 35 a
piet pieters 25 a
peter peters 42 c
peter antons 24 aYour suggestion would return:
janpiet
peter
peter
as being the first field of the referenced app.
I know podio is not a database...:)

We cannot use contact fields because it lacks "First name' "Middle name" and more (I think quite obvious contact items). Pity, but contacts is a separate app now which works fine.
The feature would work in a lot of cases, i.e. list all projects where the referenced company is in a certain city etc.
