Get webform to edit a record

We have an app containing a lot of records. We want to edit a certain record using a webform. So not adding a new record, but updating an existing one.

The whole business is about updating records. Is this possible?

Hi Riel,

Webforms can only be used to add new items - they cannot be used to edit existing ones.

This would be a nice feature due to the fact that with a webform you can limit the fields that the targeted user sees.

This is exactly what we are looking for. Would be extremely helpful and professional.

I'd like to see this functionality too.  For example someone updating their address or new skills they have obtained as in recruiting.  I don't want them to create whole new profile.

+1 to this request. Numerous requests have been made in the blog & I dont think people are seeing that it is over here and can be voted as a request.

I would like to see this functionality as well as allowing users to update their own records would be easier through this method.

Another vote! This would be an immensely useful addition and surely likely to open up Podio to new customers who need this functionality.

Hey everybody that has posted, please click the up arrow next to the original post above so it can get voted up and hopefully get the attention of the Podio development team. I'm still wanting this as well
